HEY PUNX. Seattle has a brand new crew of shredders and they go by the name Smiling. Comprised of a gaggle of dreamboats that include former members of Seattle’s Haunted Horses and Footwork, Smiling’s new record Pink is going to make little hearts appear above your head while simultaneously ripping you a new one. We asked Taylor Dow, whose incredible longform comic Abruption was voted Best in Show at last year’s Olympia Comics Festival, to chat with the band, listen to the record, and doodle up something for us in anticipation of Smiling’s upcoming cassette release/tour kickoff at Hollow Earth Radio:
