They’re already selling eggnog at Costco, so that means Deck the Hall Ball must be just around the corner. This year’s version of 107.7 The End’s holiday concert takes place Dec. 11 and will feature Seattle’s own Death Cab for Cutie at the top of the bill. For fans who weren’t able to snag tickets for the group’s free Paramount anniversary show earlier this summer, it’s the perfect chance to check out songs from the new album Thank You For Today and plenty of old favorites. However, Ben Gibbard and company won’t be playing the typical Deck the Hall digs. With the event’s home base of KeyArena being prepped for renovation construction, this year’s edition heads to SoDo’s WaMu Theater.

The lineup also boasts another local connection beyond DCFC in the form of cry dance queen Jenn Champion, the ex-Seattleite who will get the earlier arrivers revved up (and tearful) with tunes from her electronic leaning 2018 Hardly Art release, Single Rider. Rounding out the rest of the lineup are British pop rocker outfit Bastille (“Pompeii” remains one of the most undeniable rock singles in years), alt-rock band Young the Giant, rising electropop star Billie Eilish.

Tickets for Deck the Hall Ball 2018 go on sale this Friday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. via ticketmaster.com. Unlike the past KeyArena editions, all seats will be general admission and cost $75. There are also VIP tickets that include access to special areas and other perks for $175 and $300.
