Before the Tacoma Art Museum opens a new wing in January, it’s taking a moment to look back on highlights from its past. Masterpiece though it is, I can see how the Grand Illusion would like to program something different after its (48th) annual holiday screening of It’s a Wonderful Life. But Lars von Trier? The provocateur’s latest, The House That Jack Built, introduces us to a serial killer (Matt Dillon) recounting his favorite murders. (Btw, it’s set in Washington.)
